Client Impact
Our business partners contract with EAW because they consider our students an investment: an investment in the student, the community, and in their own talent pipeline.
Education at Work’s mission is to help college students gain the career-ready skills and financial stability needed to succeed after graduation. We could never accomplish that without our business partners - companies that provide the work experience and professional skills critical to the success of the EAW model.
These major corporations want to work with EAW because of our students - high-achieving employees who have the motivation and technical savvy to provide the quality customer support our business clients require.
Working with EAW provides recruitment advantages for our business partners, which is particularly critical at a time when employers are struggling to find and retain qualified, talented employees.
Our business partners appreciate the exceptional performance of EAW students, and they are equally excited by EAW’s mission. They are committed to diversifying their workforces and want to be a part of our mission of providing opportunities to underrepresented students and students living on low incomes.
More than 60% of EAW students are from diverse, underrepresented backgrounds and 50% are first-generation students. Many would have difficulty affording college without the tuition assistance and wages provided by EAW. By being a part of EAW, they are able to stay in school and gain the experience needed to succeed after graduation.
Our business partners are living out their corporate values around diversity and opportunity by being apart of this innovative work-based learning model that benefits the students, the business partner, and the school.
40% reduction in resolution time after incorporating improvements suggested by EAW students.
One EAW business partner used our students to test new software, sitting side-by-side with their engineers, an approach that was only possible because of EAW’s smart, innovative, and tech-savvy workforce. That partner also realized a 40% reduction in support resolution time by incorporating improvements suggested by EAW students.
